CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Medical Case Management of Auto No Fault to include Personal Injury Protection
  • Catastrophic Claims, Worker’s Compensation and Long Term Disability Claims and Health Insurance Claims
  • Review/consult with Claims Specialist(s) for case directives and appropriate rehabilitation services
  • Coordinator and liaison between clients, physicians, therapists and other healthcare/rehabilitation  providers, as well as employers and attorneys
  • Provide case management services for rehabilitation/recovery of multiple trauma, spinal cord and brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, including back injuries/pain in the adult and pediatric population.
  • Provide case management services for chronic medical conditions, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes mellitus, etc.
  • Medical record review/analysis for appropriateness of medical care

SPECIAL TRAINING

  • Case management experience in Worker’s Compensation claims covering a wide range of work-related injuries, including multiple trauma.
  • Case management experience in trauma resulting from motor vehicle accidents from recoverable to life altering injuries.
  • Employee health experience serving several years on Hospital Safety Committee
  • Employee health experience designing, marketing and implementing back health programs for long term care facilities and hospitals.
  • Clinical experience designing and implementing medically supervised rehabilitation programs in a health club setting
  • These programs were designed, implemented and monitored based on physician/therapist collaboration with client cooperation and input. Specific goals were developed to facilitate progression toward achievement of maximal functionality.
  • Acute care experience in Surgical Service with direct care in operating room (circulating and scrub nurse), Ambulatory Surgical Unit and Post Anesthesia Care.
