Nancy received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Education and Psychology from Northern Michigan University. Nancy is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS), and a Certified Teacher in the State of Michigan, and a Certified Job Search Trainer.
Nancy’s experience includes teaching high risk and disabled students, coordinating educational assessment, planning and placement following an injury to re-integration in to the home school, elementary through high school, technical, training institutes, and/or college environment. Her experience includes coordinating and attending Individual Education Planning (IEP) meetings, following the guidelines set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with public schools, vocational and technical programs and college disability support offices. Nancy has extensive experience in Case Management in coordinating services for clients and families with rehabilitation providers, guardians, conservators, physicians and attorneys.
Nancy has experience in vocational aptitude, assessment, coordinating reasonable accommodations in the work place, direct job placement, guardianship referral, and working with clients and families through the Social Security Disability application process.
Nancy is completing her Masters of Science Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arkansas. Nancy joined Preferred Case Management, LLC, in August, 2011.
