Robert (Bob) Russell, MSW, LPC, CCM Home Modification/Vocational Consultant – Western Michigan (travels statewide, including UP)
Bob received a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Bob is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Bob is also a Certified Case Manager.
Bob has extensive experience working in the insurance rehabilitation industry in various capacities. In addition, Bob has 12 years of post-graduate experience in mental health, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, and children’s services. He works with industrially injured clients, as well as those injured in automobile accidents and receiving benefits under Michigan’s Auto No Fault law. Bob provides customer and account development services to several prospective and current customers of the company. He assists with marketing and sales efforts throughout the state.
Bob is instrumental in developing and delivering the company’s home modification coordination services. He works effectively with clients, occupational therapists, contractors, and claims adjusters to develop and implement home modifications for handicapped accessibility throughout the state. Bob is skilled at applying the standard of what is medically and reasonably necessary in order to provide cost effective and appropriate modifications for a client. He also assists with housing relocation and research based on specific referral requests.
In September of 2007, Bob joined Preferred Case Management, LLC. Bob manages cases throughout the state of Michigan, including the Upper and Lower Peninsula and the Metro Detroit area.
