Peggy Herrick, RN, CCM Medical Case Manager – Northern Michigan
Peggy has over 30 years of nursing experience. Peggy is a Certified Case Manager and a Registered Nurse.
Peggy has extensive clinical experience which encompasses working in Intensive and Coronary Care Units, Medical-Surgical Units, Pediatrics and Surgical Services caring for the surgical patients in the operating room and post anesthesia care unit. She expanded her hospital work experience with several years of service on a safety committee and giving presentations as part of the hospital annual employee health seminars. In addition, Peggy has broad based experience in the fitness industry as an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health & Fitness Specialist. Her clinical experience includes design, marketing and implementation of back health programs for long-term care facilities and hospitals, design, implementation and monitoring of medically supervised rehabilitation programs in a health club setting and health club management.
Peggy case management experience includes the following areas: Workers’ Compensation, Auto No Fault/catastrophic claims/personal injury protection working with adult and pediatric clients who have traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, multiple trauma in addition to chronic disease management related to health insurance claims.
In May of 2007, Peggy joined the medical case management team at Preferred Case Management, LLC. Peggy manages cases primarily in Northern Michigan area.
