Lori has over 25 years of nursing experience. Lori is a Certified Case Manager and a Certification Brain Injury Specialist. Lori was an instructor for basic trauma life support (BTLS) and a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association.

Lori’s has experience working in a hospital, physician’s office, psychiatric hospital, outpatient settings, on-call crisis, utilization review, and medical case management. Lori has further worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT).

Lori has been working as a medical case manager since 1994. Her case management experience includes: assisting in coordinating care and services between clients, employers, providers, and attorneys. Lori is experienced in the adult and pediatric population with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, psychiatric illnesses, multiple trauma, catastrophic injuries and illnesses, substance abuse, and orthopedic injuries. Other work activities include identifying and arranging for appropriate home and vehicle modifications, completing onsite job analyses and reviewing medical records.

In December of 2004, Lori joined the medical case management team at Preferred Case Management, LLC. Primary coverage area is the Northeast Michigan, with clients also treating in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids.
