Kathy Speece, RN, CCM Medical Case Manager – Western MI

Kathy has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of managerial and supervisory experience. She is also a Certified Case Manager.

Kathy’s background includes hospital, home health and occupational health nursing. She has expertise in coordination of medical services for auto no-fault personal injury, workers’ compensation, and commercial health insurance clients. She provides consultation to insurance representatives and clients to identify appropriate rehabilitative services and treatment options. Her communication between clients, employers, medical providers and attorneys help to promote efficient service delivery. She has experience with orthopedic and multiple trauma injuries, traumatic brain injuries, back injuries, pain management, oncology, neurologic and muscular conditions, genetic disorders, cardiopulmonary disease, diabetes management and wound care. She has expertise in assessing the client’s home environment for equipment needs and coordinating home modifications. Her client population has ranged from pediatric to geriatric. She has knowledge of community resources and providers in Southwest Michigan.

In March of 2003, Kathy joined the medical case management team at Preferred Case Management, LLC. Kathy manages cases primarily in the South Western Michigan area.
