Julie has over 20 years of nursing experience. Julie is a Certified Case Manager, a Registered Nurse, and a Certificated CPR instructor.

The first two years of Julie’s career were spent in a hospital setting working with surgical and orthopedic patients. During that time, Julie was also a part time instructor for the Nursing Assistant program at a Community College teaching an Anatomy and Physiology class and doing clinical rotations at nursing homes and hospitals. She spent the next 12 years in the home care field, with the last two of those as clinical coordinator. Specialty areas and patient population as a staff nurse during those 12 years included wound management, Pediatrics, congestive heart failure and cardiac bypass surgery, Geriatrics and Alzheimer’s and Diabetes. As a member of the management team her focus was with Quality Improvement, ICD-9 Coding, Utilization Review, OSHA standards and JACHO accreditation.

In September of 2002, Julie joined the medical case management team at Preferred Case Management, LLC. Julie manages cases primarily Western Michigan area.
