April has over 13 years of Registered Nursing experience.

In 1998, April began her nursing career as an Emergency Room Nurse at McLaren Regional Medical Center, which she credits as developing her critical thinking skills. She has work experience in the areas of Orthopedic and Neurology through McLaren Regional Medical Center. Aprilworked for seven years at Training and Treatment Innovations as a Psychiatric Nurse Case. In 2006, April received recognition from the Department of Community Health for her work and dedication with the persistent and chronically mentally ill. April has many years of work experience in home health nursing, home care coordination, and quality improvement.

In January 2012, April joined the Medical Case Management team at Preferred Case Management, LLC. April’s primary coverage areas are Flint and the surrounding areas.
